Additional Assessments

Do you struggle in certain areas, while other things come easily to you?  Do you have difficulty establishing and maintaining peer relationships? Do you have trouble recalling or remembering information that was just presented to you?

Our practice can provide assessments for a variety of presenting issues in order for you to have a better understanding of your struggles. We can measure your cognitive, memory and learning abilities, as well as assess your attention, level of achievement, emotional health, and social skills. By looking at the full picture, an assessment can help explain why certain things come easily while others feel more effortful, and offer guidance for building on strengths while addressing areas of difficulty.

Common Reasons you may complete an assessment include:

  • Suspecting that you may have Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Concern about memory deficits
  • Concern that you may have Obsessive Compulsive Disorder
  • Possible learning differences that have gone undiagnosed
  • To gain a better understanding of your strengths and weaknesses
  • Improving academic or job performance
  • Seeking accommodations at your job or in academic setting

We encourage you to reach out to schedule a free 15 minute phone consultation. You can tell us a little bit about what you would like to work on and we can determine which clinician is likely to be the best fit.
